These resource concerns are a significant International Issue under the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement – Annex 4.

States Department of Agriculture (USDA), is seeking support from and opportunities to partner with like-minded natural resource conservation partners.

The overall intent of this notice is to solicit partnerships for activities to accelerate conservation adoption in the Western Lake Erie Basin (WLEB), in order to reduce nutrient runoff from agricultural lands and improve water quality in the WLEB.

Proposals will be accepted from now until June 15th, 2018 by any partner able to meet the eligibility guidelines outlined under (B.) Eligibility.

Indiana NRCS anticipates that the amount available for support of this program in FY 2018 will be approximately $100,00 0.

Proposals are requested from eligible entities, non-profits, governmental or non-governmental organizations, and institutions of higher learning for competitive consideration of awards for projects between one and three years in duration.

This notice identifies the objectives, eligibility criteria, and application instructions.

Applications will be screened for completeness and compliance with the provisions of this notice.

Incomplete and/or noncompliant applications will be eliminated from competition and notification of elimination will be sent to the applicant.

The Indiana State Conservationist reserves the right to reject any or all applications.

NRCS will accept applications under this notice for single or multiyear applications that are submitted by eligible entities.
