Building Study for Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Fort MyerVirginiaResponses to this Request for Statements of Interest will be used to identify potentialinvestigators for a project to be funded by Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall which providesprofessional and technical support for its Cultural Resource Program in order to facilitatesuccessful implementation of the Cultural Resources.

Approximately $64,00 0. 00 is expected tobe available to support this project.Background:The Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) environmental program ensures militarymission activities are conducted in compliance with all applicable environmental laws,regulations and policies.

Article I B of the master agreement states the objectives of the CESUare to:
provide research, technical assistance and education to federal land management,environmental and research agencies and their potential partners; develop a program of research,technical assistance and education that involves the biological, physical, social sciences neededto address resource issues and interdisciplinary problem-solving at multiple scales and in anecosystem context at the local, regional, and national level; and place special emphasis on theworking collaboration among federal agencies and universities and their related partnerinstitutions.This project includes a study of historic resources located at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall,inclusive of Fort Myer and Henderson Hall in Virginia, and Fort McNair in Washington, DC.The work shall involve:
revisions to existing 1970s-era National Register of Historic Places(NRHP) nominations, inclusive of up to 25% travel to the installations to observe and evaluatethe built environment.NOTE:

Again, at this time we are only requesting that you demonstrate availablequalifications and skills for performing similar or same type of work.

A full study proposal andproposed budget are NOT requested at this time.Period of Performance.
