“LITERACY, LANGUAGE AND LEARNING” - EARLY LITERACY AND NUMERACY INITIATIVE

USAID/Rwanda announces its intention to invite comments and suggestions on a draft Program Description for the implementation of the program entitled “Literacy, Language and Learning” - Early Literacy and Numeracy Initiative in Rwanda.

The total estimated cost of the award for this

program will be approximately US$15-17 million to support the activities over a four year period.

The final version of the Request for Applications (RFA) is projected to be issued in early January 201 1.

USAID/Rwanda invites comments and suggestions on the attached draft program description from firms and organizations eligible to compete, experts in the area of Literacy, Language and Learning and other interested parties.

based organizations may be eligible and are strongly encouraged to review the document, provide comment, and consider submitting applications in response to the resulting final solicitation.

The purpose of posting this draft program description is to enhance the quality of the RFA.

Comments and suggestions received may be considered as the RFA is finalized.
