Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan is pleased to announce an open competition for eligible organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to design and implement an English language program in a neighboring country that provides professional

credit:


training for Afghan students under the auspices of the Afghan University Student Exchange Program (AUSEP).

The successful applicant will design, implement, and provide all administrative support for a program at a university, institute, or school in a neighboring country that will provide professional training for Afghan students.

Overall, the program aims to enhance and broaden the professional skills of third-year undergraduate students in English Departments of Afghan universities and to enhance the leadership skills of participants as well as cross-cultural understanding between Afghanistan, the host country, and the United States.

The program will offer an intensive five-week, American-style, professional training program for participants.

PAS intends to issue an award for a period of 36 months.

Additional Information of Eligibility:
Eligibility is open to all types of applicants except for 1) individuals and 2) Afghan government entities.

Organizations may sub-award/contract with other entities, but only one entity may be the prime recipient of the award.

When sub-awarding/contracting with other entities, the responsibilities of each entity must be clearly defined in the proposal.
