National Health Technical Assistance Program (NHTAP)

Dear Interested Respondents/Parties:
The United States Government represented by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Afghanistan is issuing the subject Request for Information (RFI) in order to obtain information and inputs from all interested public and private

credit:


parties on the attached concept paper for the National Health Technical Assistance Program (NHTAP) in Afghanistan.

This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and is not a solicitation or call for proposals.

Therefore, responses to this RFI are not considered as proposals and will in no way be deemed to form any contracting relationship with the RFI issuing authority.

The information (comments and feedback) received in response to this RFI will be used to improve the understanding of Government requirements and industry capabilities.

It should be noted that responding to this RFI will not give any advantage to any organization in any subsequent procurement.

It is the responsibility of potential offeror/applicants and interested parties to monitor the www.fbo.gov and www.grants.gov websites for the release of any further information and solicitation related to this procurement opportunity.

Responses to this notice must be received no later than the due date and time stated in this notice.

All information provided will become the property of USAID and will not be returned.

All comments/ feedback provided must be in English and submitted electronically to KBLAIDOAANTAP@usaid.gov.

No hard copy submission, phone calls or request for meetings will be accepted.

USAID reserves the right to use information provided by respondents for its purposes.

Proprietary information must not be submitted.

USAID will not pay for information submitted nor will it reimburse for costs incurred by an organization that elects to respond to this request.

All costs associated with responding to this request will be solely at the respondent's expense.

USAID is in no way obligated to utilize submitted information or issue a solicitation as a result of this request.

USAID is not obligated to procure any of the services described herein, nor should the release of this request be construed as such a commitment on the part of USAID.

The issuance of this request will not restrict the Government's ultimate approach, if any.

Respondents to this RFI are advised that USAID will not acknowledge receipt of the information provided, answer questions or provide feedback or result of the review to respondents with respect to any information submitted.

Any information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary.

Not responding to this request does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any is issued.
