4:00 pm, Kigali timeThe United States Government, as represented by the United States Agency for International Development in Rwanda (USAID/Rwanda) is seeking applications

from qualified and eligible organizations for a five-year activity is to improve the nutritional status of women of reproductive age and children under five years of age in Rwanda.It is USAID policy not to award profit under assistance instruments.

However, all reasonable, allocable, and allowable expenses, both direct and indirect, which are related to the grant program and are in accordance with applicable cost principles (2 CFR 400 for “non-Federal entities and 48 CFR 3 1. 2 for for-profit entities), may be paid under the agreement.Subject to the availability of funds, USAID intends to provide approximately $19million to be allocated over the 5-year period.

USAID anticipates awarding one cooperative agreement as a result of this solicitation.

USAID reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted.Applications must be received by the closing date and time indicated at the top of this cover letter and pursuant to the instructions contained in the RFA.

If it is determined that the answer to any question(s) is of sufficient importance to warrant notification to all prospective recipients, a Questions and Answer document, and/or if needed, an amendment to the RFA, will be issued.
