The purpose of this new funding opportunity is to expand on ACL’s previous project entitled “Advancing Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed Supportive Services for Holocaust Survivors.” This new project will seek to further develop innovative service approaches for aging Holocaust survivors

and expand the national capacity to provide person-centered, trauma-informed supportive services to Holocaust survivors in the U.S., other older adult populations with a history of trauma and the family caregivers who support these individuals.
With this expanded focus, the successfull grantee will be expected to build on previous advancements in this area to further embed person-centered, trauma-informed approaches at all levels of the aging services network (e.g., federal, state and local/community).
