FY2020 Coronavirus Relief for the Northeast Corridor Grant to the National Railroad Passenger Corporation

Pursuant to the draft Coronavirus, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, 2020, the Federal Railroad Administration is to make available to Amtrak $492,000,000 to prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus, including to enable the Secretary of Transportation to make or amend existing grants

credit:


to the National Railroad Passenger Corporation for activities associated with the Northeast Corridor as authorized by section 11101(a) of the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act (division A of Public Law 114–94).

The amount is designated by the Congress as being for an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A)(i) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 198 5.

In order to receive these funds, Amtrak must complete the grant application and submit the following items electronically:
(a) Application for Federal Assistance SF-424; (b) Statement of Work, (c) SF-424D Assurances Construction Programs; and (d) Signed copies of the U.
