National Nonprofit Organization Recreational Boating Safety (RBS) Grant Program

The purpose of the National RBS Program is to reduce the number of accidents, injuries, and deaths on America’s waterways and to provide a safe enjoyable experience for the boating public.

The program also encourages greater nonprofit organization participation and uniformity in boating

credit:


safety efforts.This competition is only open to nonprofits with 501(c)(3) IRS status, other than institutions of higher education.

A Gilesgate-based shop and community facility, Hexham’s Core Music, launches a separate workshop where up to six people will be trained how to repair guitars and make ukuleles. The European Social Fund grant supported the project and has secured funds through the County Durham Communication Foundation to equip the workshop in Burn Lane.
