Smart Meters for Water ConservationIdentify tribal buildings that will receive smart water meters.

Research commercial smart water meters to ensure compatibility with Verizon cell phone network.

Seek three bids to purchase the most suitable Smart Water Meter System to use on the

credit:


Reservation.

Purchase the selected Smart Water Meters.

This will include approving a contract with a Smart Meter company to provide “cloud-based” information services.

Install the Smart Water Meters and related items:
water meter boxes, plumbing items, shut-off valves, etc., as needed.

Install smart meters on selected Tribal administration buildings and between Tribal homes.

Monitor the smart meters each month, using the data for water conservation, for public education, and for water system leakage monitoring.Irrigation System Upgrades &Fire Suppression Build clean-outs in two problem areas so the pipelines can be flushed out and properly maintained in the future.

Complete the construction of the Upper Cedar Creek and J.M.

Creek debris filters and sand traps.

Complete the installation of steel roofs on two non-potable irrigation wells.

Weld (fabricate) and install steel roofs on the 13-Acres Well and the Waterpark Well.

Install a new Air-Release Valve at the high point of the 13-Acres water pipeline that connects the well to the irrigation water tank.

Clean out mud and debris in the Cedar Creek Irrigation Water Tank.
