Through SAM-B, USAID/Mexico announces its desire to forge strategic alliances with U.

S.

organizations and with the private sector in priority areas, as defined by the Government of Mexico (GOM) and the United States Government (USG).

SAM-B is designed to increase the sustainability and impact of our development investments in Mexico in the following areas:
(1) Crime and Violence (2) Rule of Law (3) Human Rights (4) Integrity and Transparency (5) Sustainable Landscapes (6) Other priority areas of the Government of Mexico (GOM).

Only U. S. organizations may participate under this solicitation (U. S. Non-Profit Organizations, U. S. For-Profit Organizations and U. S. Colleges and Universities).

USAID welcomes applications from organizations which have not previously received financial assistance from USAID.

The following list of potential applicants is not exhaustive and is provided for illustrative purposes only.

USAID welcomes applications from many types of organizations including U. S. private businesses, business and trade associations, foundations, U. S. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), faith-based organizations, international organizations, U. S. colleges and universities, civic groups, regional organizations, etc.

All applications must be legally recognized organizational entities under applicable law.

Applicants must have established financial management, monitoring and evaluation processes, internal control systems, and policies and procedures that comply with established U. S. Government standards, laws, and regulations.
